About Women of Color Cultural Foundation, Inc.

Dr. Helen JacksonThe Women of Color Cultural Foundation, Inc. was established in February 2000 as a 501c3 organization. The purpose of the Foundation is to address the needs of people of color, to eliminate disparities in health, education, economic development and other areas that affect the equality and common good of society. The Women of Color Cultural Foundation, Inc. is also known as “Women of Color”.

The Women of Color Cultural Foundation, Inc. is a 501c3 organization and exists to serve the needs people of color. To do this, we have adopted a vision and mission that embodies the overarching purpose of the organization.

The members of the Women of Color Cultural Foundation are determined to make a difference in the lives of others. They are individuals who volunteer to work towards a common vision by engaging like-minded organizations and individuals for partnership. Members contribute numerous hours of community service every year in efforts to strengthen youth, families, and communities for the common good. The Foundation is a non-profit corporation operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954, as amended.
